1. We won't tolerate any type of disrespectful treatment towards any of our users, this includes:
1.1 Malicious comments regarding one's physical appearance (e.g. "her eyes look crazy as hell")
1.2 Taking jabs at one's personal preferences (e.g "Naya's stans are crazy")
1.3 Disregard for people's life experiences (e.g. "I know you're [insert opressed group] but I know about the prejudices you face better than you do")
1.4 Spreading one's personal information on the forum without their consent*
* = if you're posting screenshots from somebody's personal social media account without hiding their faces or surnames, your post WILL be deleted.
2. We have no place for bigoted people on our forum, please check your privileges before entering discussions regarding situations of personal, social and/or structural opression in our current society.
3. We won't tolerate disrespectful comments regarding non-users either, Pink Power Ranger** might not be here to see you take jabs at her power bow skills, but that doesn't make your bashing ok:
3.1 You don't have to like anyone, but respect is a must if you wish to find the same for yourself on Netbox.
3.2 Characters are not supposed to be liked by everyone.
3.2.1 Your favorite might be someone else's least favorite. Accept that. Respect that.
3.2.2 Your least favorite character might be someone else's #1 favorite. Accept that. Respect that.
3.3 We don't all share the same tastes and interests.
3.3.1 Don't get angry at someone for not being as into the Jonas Brothers** as you are.
3.3.2 Don't get angry at someone for being so into the Jonas Brothers**.
3.4 Be mindful of spreading theories and false information regarding celebrities' personal lives here. That behavior can get vicious and it can make other people uncomfortable. Remember: positive bank balance or not, at the end of the day, we're all humans and appreciate at least some privacy.
** = This applies to all artists/characters/movies/tv shows/bands/etc.
4. Roleplaying is not allowed on our shoutbox.
4.1 If you do impersonate someone else there, please make sure you let other users know that. Our biggest concern is to NOT end up making members who aren't familiar with roleplaying uncomfortable while using one of Netbox main features.
